Hi, I'm Nicki, founder of Tipton Travels.

​I help busy professionals, couples, and families experience exceptional Caribbean and European vacations without the overwhelm of planning them alone. Because I am that woman. I'm also a busy working mom who understands exactly how hard it is to create meaningful family time when life is packed with work, school, activities, responsibilities and mental load. I became a travel advisor partly because travel was one of the ways I learned to intentionally create those experiences for my own family.

 

​I’m a career educator with 24 years in public education. My background as a French teacher, combined with my own extensive travels throughout Europe, gives me insight I can use to help clients navigate European travel with greater confidence. My years as a school counselor have also taught me how to listen closely, anticipate needs, and support families who may need a little extra care and guidance when they travel.

I created Tipton Travels because I realized with my own family that some of the most meaningful memories were made while traveling with my family. Seeing my children experience getting the first stamps on their passports, take their first cruise, swim with the dolphins, practice their Spanish for the first time and all of the in between moments have been a meaningful part of my family's experience. I understand how quickly life fills up and how easy it is to keep putting off the experiences you want to have with the people you love.​ I know what it's like to have a calendar that's already full and still want to make time to see the world with the people you love. The vacation should be the thing you're looking forward to, not another project you have to manage.

My clients value their time. They appreciate expert guidance, personalized recommendations, and having a trusted advisor handle the research, planning, and logistics that can quickly become overwhelming. Rather than spending hours comparing destinations, resorts, cruise lines, and excursions, they have the confidence of knowing every detail has been thoughtfully considered.

That's why I take the time to understand how you want to travel, what matters most to you, and what you want from the experience before I begin making recommendations. I take an overwhelming number of possibilities and narrow them down to the options that actually fit the way you want to travel.
